ABOUT
Chillov is an electro-acoustic artist based on the Black Sea coast, where the sound of the sea quietly shapes his musical language.
Trained in piano and French horn, his early path was rooted in orchestral performance before gradually dissolving into synthesis and sonic exploration. The encounter with analog instruments—most notably the Mopho x4 by Dave Smith—opened a new direction, where acoustic memory and electronic texture merge.
He contributed to the Nu-Jazz project JazzProfilactika on the album Tick Tock (2017), an early milestone in the formation of his voice.
His later works unfold as fragments of atmosphere and narrative: Story (2020), Peak (2022), and the EP How Happy We Are (2022), accompanied by the visual piece Hologram.
Chillov’s work moves between organic resonance and electronic abstraction—rhythmic, immersive, and cinematic in tone.
